How we build the rankings and why they stay editorial.

Lounge Pass is an independent editorial guide. We do not sell ranking placement, and commercial relationships do not change card scores, lounge coverage, or access-rule text.

Ranking methodology

The card rankings use a fixed rubric: distinct lounge networks, US airport coverage, access quality, visit restrictions, and annual fee math. The same scoring inputs apply across issuers.

Editorial firewall

Affiliate URLs and sponsored inventory live outside the ranking logic. Apply links are labeled, sponsored placements are labeled, and no partner can pay to change which card appears better for a route.

Update cadence

We recheck issuer and network policies weekly. The dataset currently covers 38 cards, 55 US airports, and 208 lounges.
